Only 2 weeks left til departure! I'm really excited, because I have finally figured out my homestay information for the Dominican Republic. I even got a free ISA t-shirt in the mail. The family's name is Gomez Mena. They have one son whose 27 and a doctor. My host mom is a hairstylist and my host dad is a private employer. They even have a dog and a cat! (I LOVE cats!!) I get my own room and I'll actually be sharing my host house with another girl from the ISA Program. Her name is Yisette and she's from Colorado. The house sounds so spacious and exciting. I can't wait to see it!! Plus, it's only a 5-10 minute walk from campus where I'll be going to school at Pontifical Catholic University in Santiago, Dom. Republic. There are 19 students in the program (including myself) and of those 19, only 4 are guys...go figure! But the cool thing is that I'm living in a neighborhood and there are about 5 other students in the same neighborhood as me! yay! friends! lol. -Natalie
